Dean Strickland 8 x 10 He´s a traveling Texas musician that is happily starting to make a new name for himself, and he´s making his way in the music business the hardest way there is. A couple of Dean´s new songs, including "I Love Texas(It´s My Home)" that he recently wrote during his hichhiking adventure from San Antonio, Texas to Amarillo, Texas, and then recorded at AMP Recording Studio in Amarillo, Texas, recently aired on "Brock Matthews´ Amarillo Nights Radio show, and Dean, gave his exciting hitchhiker interview, and told stories about his adventures hitchhiking across Texas, and he also played, live on the air, his guitar and sang his original Country song "Something To You I Just Wanted To Tell". Dean writes and performs mostly Country music and Rock. Give his songs a spin and you´ll understand why he won the award for "Best Songwriting" at the 2004 Rock City Awards show in Hollywood, California. Dean has been receiving a awful lot of exposure lately, so check him out!

On the evening of April 4, 2006, Dean, recorded his song "Texas" at AMP Recording Studio in Amarillo, Texas, with Vince Hopkins on lead guitar, Phil Morris on drums, and Kyle Johnson on bass, engineered by Drew Holder.
