Advertise with Project Amarillo
Home Local Music Scene Another cool website bites the dust.

I want to tell you that I think what this guy is doing is great and I hope he doesn't let it go away like he has said. I totally forgot about Projectamarillo and found it again on google when I was looking for something else.
I used to check out the Amarillo nights message board everyday to see what was new and I really missed it when it went away. It was a great idea and sucks that noone cared to keep it online. Then the guy that helped Brock made Projectamarillo and I thought this would be Amarillo nights 2.0 but noone cares still and now it's going away too. It's a shame that nobody cares enough to support soemthing that really does make a difference. These websites give you guys lots of info about the local music scene and a calendar of the shows. I don't think anyone else has even come close to doing that. The Edge monthly is wrong a lot and caters to only certain bars that advertise with him. The scene is a joke. But Amarillo nights and Projectamarillo cared about the little guys. The unsigned bands had a friend here and got some attention. It may have even helped some bars stay open because they could find a list of shows and spent their money in a bar they wouldn't have gone to unless their band was playing there.
If you are still listening, I hope you don't give up and keep your hopes up. Maybe Projectamarillo isn't what is needed right now but you have heart and the passion to try and do something that noone else has the balls to try. I thank you for all your hard work and patience. As I think a lot of others do too.
