Description

It's been 14 years since Trans-Siberian Orchestra debuted with the single "Christmas Eve (Sarajevo/1224)," inspiring generations of fans to rediscover the multi-dimensional art form of the rock opera.

TSO has sold more than seven million copies of its first four rock operas -- 1996's CHRISTMAS EVE & OTHER STORIES, 1998's THE CHRISTMAS ATTIC, BEETHOVEN'S LAST NIGHT in 2000 and 2004's THE LOST CHRISTMAS EVE. On the road, meanwhile, they have become one of the world's top touring acts, with a $20 million-plus production that by 2008 played to over 5 million people in 80+ cities, selling more than $230 million worth of tickets. And, oh yeah, there was that crazy beer ad with the insanely decorated Christmas house whose lights were synced to TSO's "Wizards in Winter."

Now TSO is taking us to a bold and exciting new place -- NIGHT CASTLE.

This can't be for real. They told the civic center a few years ago that Amarillo does not ave a location with enough room for a TSO show. That's why they moved to Lubbock for all these years. I highly doubt this will happen. So please make sure this is accurate before listing it here please!

Why don't you verify your accuracy first. PA did their homework and posted something that is accurate.
Mikey said it too, but why does everyone here think that Amarillo is just a small back-water town that can't handle a decent show. It's everyone that thinks that, spewing their loud mouth opinions, that tell the managers not to book in Amarillo, because Amarilloans have a pissy attitude. If you tell them we are not good enough, then they will listen and we will not be good enough!!!!!!!!

You can't argue with the facts. It's the attitude that screws us all the time. Bands used to tour in Amarillo a lot, now they skip us because we piss them off or just don't sell out the show.

it's a sad situation that rock music lovers are in here. I know a lot of people that bitch and moan about not getting the rock bands touring, then when those bands do come here, they bitch and moan about $25 tickets. the country acts get $50+ and sell out all the time, but the rockers are too cheap. So we loose.

It's hard to pay for $25 for non-existant tickets. If they don't tour here, then there isn't a $25 ticket to buy. Get your facts straight.

Get yours straight!* We do get some awesome rock concerts in Ama. maybe we can't get as many as Lubbock, but we do get them and yeah $25 is nothing but too many are too cheap to pay it and thus they skip us next time for places like Lubbock because they sell out there.

I found the information from their own website, check the official website link above. Click on it and then "View all tour dates..." You will see Amarillo listed for April 28th.

oh my god, REALLY? Where did you get your gossip from Brinda? They were coming to Amarillo for a few years, and not Lubbock. Then they spend a few in Lubbock. And that means we are just a back-water town that isn't big enough to piss in?

They need to schedule more nights for this show so more can see it. It was sold out before the tickets went on sale to the public, and that sucks

no tickets went on sale and were gone in 12 minutes. So you are wrong because the general public had a 12 minute chance.

You people are all morons and not real fans. They said at the Lubbock show they would tour smaller venues and yes Amarillo is a smaller venue and no last years show would not fir in the Civic Center.
