Live in '08? Print E-mail

I'm sure all of you that listen to the rock stations in Amarillo have heard that Live in '08 is coming soon. They have not yet announced the bands that will be there or the date of the show. I've been asked many times about this and all I know at this time is that there is going to be a Live in '08, but I don't know any more than that. As soon as I do hear anything, it will be listed here.

If you do know more information, please get in touch with me so that I can get the word out! Or if you want to tell us yourself, register on Project Amarillo and add your own post!!!

Leave it to Rock108 to try to get all the hype up by announcing this thing and telling you to stay tuned. Only to make you stay tuned for weeks until they decide to give you the goods. What a bunch of crap to try to get you to keep them tuned in. I say boycott Rock108 and let them know this shit is not right!

Why you gotta diss rock 108? Thos guys are the only reason dis ting is even ganna happin. Keep your mouth shut and jus wait til they announce it. They have the right to let you know about it wheneva they want ta.

Shut up! They are not the only reason this is gonna happon, but in reality who cares those big shows always suck anyway. Amarillo doesn\'t have a place to have these shows. Those big [censored]in metal buildings they have been having them in sound like shit. Amarillo is a lame ass music town Lubbock gets better shows than we do becouse of promotion. No one here promotes shows that arn\'t pop shows.

You obviously have no respect for local music dude, and as for Rock 108, well there the only rock station in amarillo, and I personally dont want to see them go, I do wish they would start backing the local bands and help promoting there shows more often, maybe the amarillo music scene would improve, and get the public out to enjoy some homegrown tunes..........

Why in God's name would anyone want this anyway. The first one was good. Then this thing went to shit. Hope it's dead and buried now. They need to find a better stage than the Midnight Rodeo and Aztec too. They both suck and make us look bad to the awesome rock bands that come to Amarillo.
