Calendar Info

We have recently filled the calendar up with dates for the next several months. And also due to demand, we have added more sports and karaoke to the list as well. But, if you are looking for more specific information, you can click on a bar/club/venue name on the calendar page to display concerts or events that are only coming to that location. If you are looking for just music or sports, you can click on a category(type) and see only those coming concerts or events.

Soon, we are adding a new search to the website, that will help in searching for specific bands, teams, etc... as well as other pages and articles on ProjectAmarillo.com. If you have any questions or problems, please feel to contact us!

I would look at their website. There is a 2010 tour schedule up: www.nickelback.com

They are not heading to Amarillo anytime soon, but they will be in Tulsa, OK on April 24th and Dallas, TX on May 15th.

A friend told me they will be in Amarillo in April. Can you confirm this?

At this time I can not confirm this. I have not heard anything about them coming, and it's not currently listed on any tour schedules I can find. I'll keep an eye out and post the show if they are coming to Amarillo.

Well, might just be a coincidence, but Rock108 has been teasing us with a future concert announcement and that "This is a cool one". and April seems to be about the Not-too-soon/not-too-far time frame that Rock108 announces concerts. Who knows.

I highly doubt you'll see them play in Amarillo again. They are too big now and the last couple of times they were here, they didn't sell out, telling them they were not that popular here anymore.

I beg to differ, they sold out every show.

nothing but a bunch of pretty wannabes. They are as bad as the [censored] hairbands of the 80's
Nickleback has diminished the state of rock to sounding as bad as ghetto rap.

No one knows yet Cessy. We are waiting to find out if Rock 108 announces it, or someone else. I hope they are coming. That would be a great concert.

I sent in a question about this to their myspace, and received a reply that at this time there is no scheduled stop in Amarillo, but their management does add new stops all the time and it may be a possibility. So I'll keep watching and let you guys know if I hear anything!

are you sure you talked to someone that knows? I know a guy on their street creds group and he says they are planning on a stop in Amarillo, just nothing set in stone on the exact date.

Well it was their official myspace page that I used to contacted someone. They gave the impression that it's possible but nothing has been made official on an Amarillo date. So until I hear something said that sets a date, I don't want to confirm anything yet.

Give the man some credit. If they haven't announced Amarillo on the tour, then it's not a "confirmed" date! I'm sure if they add a date for Amarillo, then it will be on the PA calendar thing immediately.

hey go ask Brenda, we are too small for these big concerts.
And how come this was a blog about the website calendar and now it became this big nickleback thing?

And to the guys that manage this place. Why are the comments upside down?
It's kind of annoying to try to read the top comment and figure out wtf they are talking about. Most sites have the oldest at the top and the rest following so you can figure out the conversation.

Thanks a lot. Now I gotta re-read all of these so I know I didn't miss anything because they are upside down to me.

Nickelback has outgrown the Amarillo market. would be nice to see them tour here again, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it happening.

that is the problem with bands, they sell a few albums and think they need to play the massive concert arenas that most cities don't have. I could care less if they ever come back here. they are pop rock bank, n'sync with a couple of guitars and a drum set.

Why do you not show Christian concerts on this calendar. There are so many great concerts going on right here in Amarillo, at our lovely houses of the Lord.
I assume you are not a Christian since you do not take the time to list these ministries.
You should visit one of the many houses of the Lord and get to know him and yourself.

Christian concerts are always welcome. If you have information about upcoming shows, please feel free to send us the info through our contact us page, or register and submit the information to the calendar yourself.
If I do not list the events, it's usually because I'm not aware of them yet.
